About Our school
Located one mile north of the Lee Civic Center on State Road 31, Temple Christian School utilizes Biblically-based curricula in each classroom in order to fulfill our mission of “Building Champions for Christ.” We use Abeka curriculum exclusively through 2nd grade as Abeka has a superb phonics program and at this time students are learning to read. Upon reaching this stage of development, students read to learn; therefore, we utilize a combination of A.C.E and Abeka to prepare our students for the rigors of both corporate and independent learning. Our teachers have degrees and seek to educate not only academically, but also spiritually, physically, and socially.
Temple Christian School was founded in 1975 as an outreach ministry of Temple Baptist Church. The school has grown from its first year with students in preschool to later serving through the eighth grade. We now serve students from three-years old through the twelfth grade.
Temple Christian School is dedicated to pursuing excellence in all we do as we train our students to develop and apply a Biblical world view.
It is the firm conviction of the administration and staff that the integration of Biblical principles is essential for the youth of today to have a correct, Biblical world-view. It is our desire not only to provide a quality education, but to instill such character traits that our graduates will be “Champions for Christ.” We also have regular chapel services by age/grade to learn and be challenged from the Bible.
